Behaviour Packages
I offer a range of Behaviour Services to suit yours and your pets (dogs and cats) needs. I can attend in person, however, aside from distance there may be other good reasons not to do this and to conduct a consult online. Modern technology has enabled
Behaviourists to really get a
good idea of the pets
environment, without us
having to attend and
disrupt the pets usual
behaviour - which can
actually give us a better
idea of what is
going on.
It also doesn't cause the
animal stress, which can
often
happen in
fear or aggression cases.

To encourage higher standards within the behaviour field, I only work on vet referral. Many behaviour issues can occur as a result of medical issues or require dual management from a behaviourist and vet.

You will also need to fill in a pre-consultation questionnaire and preferably some video footage. This, along with the medical history from your veterinarian will allow your case to be adequately planned for prior to the first session.

Please note: As behaviour problems are normally well-practiced before a behaviourist is called, treatment is not a 'quick fix'. Behaviour modification can take time and requires all family members to be consistent.

Behaviour Assessment @ $500 /1.5-2 hours
This is suitable for people who want some guidance and advice but do not need on-going support - i.e. for newly formed, niggly or single behaviour problems. Included:
- Analyses of questionnaire/videos
- In-depth consultation, at home or online 1.5 - 2 hours
- Report of main findings and recommendations
Full Support/Advanced Support @ $1,000/1.5-2 hour PLUS 2 x 1 hr support sessions and 6 months contact.
Suitable option when your dog or cat has started to disrupt your day to day life.
- Analyses of questionnaire/videos
- In-depth consultation, at home or online 1.5 - 2 hours
- In-depth report of all findings and recommendations
- liaison with vet
- 2 x 1 hour follow up sessions
- 6 months contact via phone or email.
Complex Support @ $1,500/1.5-2 hour consult, plus 4 x 1 hour sessions. 12 months contact?
Ideal for very complex cases, whereby your animal has caused harm to a person or animal, which may require additional time and support. Included:
- Analyses of questionnaire/videos
- In-depth consultation, at home or online 1.5 - 2 hours
- In-depth report of all findings and recommendations
- liaison with vet
- 4 x 1 hour follow up sessions
- 12 months contact via phone or email.
Follow up session @ $199/hour
Additional sessions can be arranged, as required.
